We use a Knoica Minolta CR-300 tristimulus colorimeter to measure color consistency of plastic and metal parts. It has an aperature of 8mm and the smallest parts size that can be measured is 20mm.
While many customers order every month or so, some customers order once a year. It is very important that we are able to supply the same colour plastics over a long period of time, especially when the original raw material may have changed or no longer be abailable 12 or 24 months months later.
In the near future we will also be including a Colorimeter reading with the samples we send. The reading has 3 components;
